Burst fire pipe on Boylston floods Target, forces evacuation, temporary closures

A fire pipe servicing the Fenway Target at 1341 Boylston St. burst shortly before noon on Thursday, flooding multiple streets in the area and causing traffic delays ahead of a Red Sox doubleheader.

The Kings met and fell in love as students in Boston. Nearly 60 years later, on a misty Friday afternoon, hundreds stood for hours in the muddy grass as government and community leaders spoke ahead of the unveiling of a new monument celebrating their love.

Blood donation returns: Key Club facilitates successful drive

On Wednesday April 13, Hellgate’s Key Club worked with the Red Cross to facilitate a successful blood drive in the lower gym. At least 30 units of blood were donated by staff and students throughout the day.

On April 14, roughly 40 students filed into the Knight Hall. Their eyes turned to the Zoom call projected onto the screen. Minutes later, a young man wearing a dark blue t-shirt and brown flannel sweater logged on. His blond hair was neatly combed, and his blue eyes had a determined steely gaze, the look of a weary leader.

SGA passes Sense of the Senate recommendations to improve emergency communication

Northeastern’s Student Government Association, or SGA, voted on Monday to pass its first major resolution for the 22-23 school year, a Sense of the Senate on Northeastern Emergency Response and Public Safety Taskforce.
